“We were intrigued about the fact that we could actually afford a home. I’d never given much thought to owning a home before. I don’t work full time. I’m a seasonal worker for the City of Toronto so it didn’t seem possible that we could own a home. Assistance through the second mortgage made it possible for us so three years ago, March 1, 2011 was when we moved in and became home owners.
