Winter Driving Tips from Options for Cars!

Winter is in full force in Toronto this year. Please exercise extra caution when driving conditions are less than ideal.  The main thing is to slow down, allow yourself extra time to get where you need to be going and leave extra space between you and the car in front.

All Options cars have a jug of windshield fluid in the back hatch.  If you are going a long distance, check to see that the fluid in the engine reservoir is topped up.

The red Versa and Dodge Caravan at Heintzman Place are equipped with winter tires as is the Versa at Queen Victoria Street.  Winter tires only increase traction in snowy conditions by around 10% over all-season tires so please be careful no matter what vehicle you are driving.

Finally, if driving conditions make you uneasy, it may be best to consider making other transportation arrangements.
